Transfers and Postings of 19 Veterinary Assistant Surgeons in J&K

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued an official order detailing the transfers and postings of 19 Veterinary Assistant Surgeons to ensure optimum utilization of the workforce and to cater to the needs of the department. The move is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations and enhance the delivery of veterinary services across the region.

As stated in the government order No. 33 (JK-AGR) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024, the transfers and postings are described below:

1. Dr. Firdous Ahmad Wani, who was serving at Sheep Husbandry Kashmir, is now transferred to Sheep Husbandry, Srinagar.
2. Dr. Javed Iqbal Sheikh, previously placed at Mobile Veterinary Unit, Srinagar, will join DLSC, Anantnag.
3. Dr. Riyaz Ahmad, from FVSC & AH, Shuhama, is posted to Sheep Husbandry, Shopian.
4. Dr. Raja Aijaz Ali, formerly at FVSC & AH, Shuhama, will now serve at Sheep Husbandry, Ganderbal.
5. Dr. Salik Nazir, who was at FVSC & AH, Shuhama, is transferred to Sheep Development Office, Kupwara.
6. Dr. Mudasir Bashir, earlier serving at Sheep Husbandry, Shopian, will now be part of Sheep Husbandry, Budgam.
7. Dr. Zahid Saleem Wani is transferred from Sheep Husbandry, Ganderbal to PSC Srinagar.
8. Dr. Nighat Nasir, who was at Sheep Husbandry, Budgam, will now take up her responsibilities at FVSC & AH, Shuhama.
9. Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Shah, from Sheep Development Office, Kupwara, is posted to the Sheep Husbandry Department, Srinagar.
10. Dr. Arshid Hamid, who was at the Sheep Husbandry Department, Srinagar, is transferred to the Mobile Veterinary Unit, Srinagar.
11. Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, formerly part of FVSC & AH, Shuhama, is now transferred to Sheep Husbandry, Pulwama.
12. Dr. Farah Zaffar, from Sheep Husbandry, Pulwama, will join Sheep Husbandry, Kargil.
13. Dr. Abrar Ul Haq Khan, previously placed at Sheep Husbandry, Kargil, is now transferred to Sheep Husbandry, Bandipora.
14. Dr. Haroon Rashid, who was at Sheep Husbandry, Bandipora, will now serve at FVSC & AH, Shuhama.
15. Dr. Basharat Muzaffar, from Sheep Husbandry, Kupwara, is posted to Sheep
